The Role:

As a GL accountant within Sunrock's finance department, you will play a crucial role in the financial management and project administration of our solar parks. This position offers a dynamic work environment where your contributions will directly influence our efficiency and success.

Your Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

• Full responsibility for the financial administration of various entities within Sunrock.
• Participating in the preparation of monthly and yearly financial closings, and supporting external audit processes
• Processing of incoming and outgoing payments and managing financial transactions and records.
• Booking and managing incoming invoices, overseeing the administration's email inbox and mail.
• Monitoring outstanding receivables and liabilities (accounts receivable/accounts payable management) and maintaining customer and vendor relationships
• Handling VAT returns, processing salary journal entries, and maintaining intercompany reconciliations.
• Collaborating with team members on continuous process optimization and participating in ad-hoc financial projects
• Accounting of assets, control over depreciation process and reviews.

What You Bring To The Table:

• A minimum of 5 years' experience in financial administration or a related field.
• Educational background in accounting, finance, or related disciplines.
• Proficiency in financial software, experience with NetSuite is advantageous
• Proficiency in English, with strong communication skills 
• Proficiency in Dutch is highly desirable
• A detail-oriented, goal-driven approach, with a keen ability to introduce structure and efficiency within a scale-up environment.
• Proactive and confident in proposing new ideas, with a strong interest in process automation and a continuous desire to learn and improve.
