IT Support Engineer

Looking to join a company that's making a difference? Sunrock delivers clean energy to more than 636.000 people and has more than 1 GWp in development, with even bigger plans for the future. As our new IT Support Engineer in Amsterdam you'll be part of a team of over 150 Sunrockers who are committed to expanding sustainable energy solutions throughout Europe.

About Sunrock

Sunrock isn't just another company; we're a vision in action. With a young spirit and a wealth of experience, we're committed to excellence in our quest for sustainable energy solutions. Our growth is rapid and our ambitions are sky high! We cover projects from solar systems to BESS (Battery Energy Storage Systems) and EV solutions, that are all steered by our own EMS (Energy Management System). As Europe's leading name in large-scale solar projects, we're not just part of the industry, we're redefining it.

About the role:

As our IT Support Engineer, you will play a key role in our IT Operations and Cybersecurity team. We are looking for hands-on support. Sunrock’s Technology landscape combines workplace and devices, a broad SaaS application landscape and internally developed applications, data and energy platforms. In this role, you don’t need to know everything, but you do need to take ownership: understand the issue, resolve what you can, involve our Managed Service Partner when needed and make sure the request and problems get resolved. Your users are developers, joiners and leavers and business users. From there, you’ll help colleagues with everything from workplace and device management to access, SaaS applications and Sunrock’s internal tooling and platforms.

Your responsibilities:

• Manage, track and follow up on IT requests and issues via our Jira ticketing system.

• Provide hands-on support for all our users.

• Manage laptops, software and workplace technology.

• Manage users, access rights, permissions and onboarding/offboarding.

• Administer SaaS applications, licenses and Intune.

• Support technical teams with tooling and platform access.

• Own support requests through resolution and improve operations and processes.

What you bring to the table

• An IT-related degree (MBO/HBO) or equivalent experience.

• 4+ years' experience in IT support, IT Operations or system administration.

• Knowledge of Windows, Microsoft 365, Entra ID and Intune.

• Experience with SaaS administration and identity & access management.

• Strong troubleshooting skills and technical curiosity.

• A hands-on, ownership-driven and service-oriented mindset, with strong English communication skills.
