The Role: 

In this role, you will support the Energy Contracting team with a variety of tasks. Together, we ensure that daily operations run accurately and efficiently.

The Energy Contracting team is responsible for all commercial agreements related to the sale of the energy we generate. From setting up and adjusting our contractual agreements to checking if the revenues match our calculations. Our portfolio in the Netherlands currently consists of 250 assets with over 450 MW of installed capacity. Most of our assets are installed on rooftops, and we are expanding our offering with battery energy storage and smart energy solutions. Our department is running at full speed; we are developing and improving our ways of working so that we can scale with Sunrock's growth ambitions. Currently, we do this with a small team of three, but we are expanding and are now looking for a working student to join our team

Job requirements

Your Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

  • Analyzing information such as production and pricing data
  • Onboarding new assets
  • Selling Guarantees of Origin (GOs)
  • Implementing contract updates
  • Thinking along on how to make processes more efficient


What You Bring To The Table:

  • You have some experience working in a professional environment, for example through a part-time job or internship.
  • You enjoy a playing field where technical, commercial/legal, and financial aspects come together.
  • You are available for at least 20 hours per week starting early September. There is an option to increase the hours during vacation periods.
  • You are eager to learn and can quickly adapt to the work.
  • You are able to work in a dynamic environment and are willing to support the further development of Energy Contracting within Sunrock to do things even better and smarter
  • You are currently pursuing a university degree, preferably in a technical field.
  • You are proficient in Excel/Google Sheets.
  • You have a strong command of the English language, Dutch is highly advantageous!
