As Workplace Manager, you’ll play a key role in keeping our operations running smoothly and creating an inspiring, well-organised workplace for our team. You’ll be the heartbeat of the office—supporting day-to-day activities, coordinating with internal and external stakeholders, and contributing to an efficient and energising work environment.

The Role

This is a dynamic, hands-on role that requires initiative, structure, and a positive, service-oriented mindset. You will be responsible for maintaining a well-functioning office and helping create a smooth employee experience. We’re proud of the workplace we’ve built — from our award-winning office to the high scores we receive in our engagement survey. In this role, you'll not only help things run smoothly, but also contribute to the great environment our people love to work in.

Key Responsibilities

· Ensure a tidy, welcoming and professional office environment

· Manage day-to-day operations: check meeting rooms, maintain office supplies, snacks and coordinate lunch

· Oversee access to the building and parking facilities

· Coordinate with external service providers (e.g. building owner, cleaning party, phone systems, catering)

· Act as the first point of contact for employees, visitors and vendors

· Support onboarding of new employees

· Help organize internal events, team outings and office celebrations

· Maintain internal documentation (e.g. office guides, processes, internal Wiki-page)

· Ensure all office equipment is working smoothly and coordinate technical support when needed (collaboration with IT-Team)

· Assist with travel bookings and light administrative tasks

· Ensure compliance with Dutch labor laws and safety regulations, including workplace ergonomics

· Identify and act on opportunities to improve workflows or the office experience

Job requirements

Who You Are

You’re sharp, practical and know how to get things done. You take ownership, act with urgency and keep a cool head when things get busy. You understand that a well-run office is essential to team performance—and you take pride in making that happen.

This role calls for someone who is hands-on, structured and thrives in a fast-moving environment. We’re not looking for someone to just "keep things tidy"—we’re looking for someone who takes full responsibility for how the office operates and how the team experiences their work environment.

You bring:

· Minimum 2–3 years of relevant experience in office or facility management, hospitality or a similar role

· A completed degree in Facility Management or Hospitality

· A strong sense of ownership, you don’t wait to be asked, you just get on with it

· A structured and practical mindset

· The ability to set priorities and keep momentum, even with multiple tasks coming your way

· Strong communication skills (English), you’re clear, confident, and professional

· A natural eye for improvements, you spot what’s missing or inefficient and take action

· Availability to work 32 hours per week (Mo-Th), with a commitment to being on-site at our Amsterdam office
